This policy explains what Series Reminder stores and how that information is used to operate the app.
Information we store
Series Reminder stores the account details you provide, including username, email address, password hash, watchlist entries, reviews, friend connections, notification preferences, uploaded profile avatars, and messages you submit through the contact form.
How we use data
Your data is used to operate the app, authenticate your account, sync your watchlist, deliver notifications, show profile and friend features, review supporter claims, and respond to bug reports or contact messages.
Notifications and device tokens
If you enable notifications, the app stores a device push token so episode updates can be delivered. You can also opt in per friend to receive notifications when that friend adds a new series to their public watchlist. Invalid device tokens may be removed automatically when the push provider reports that the device is no longer registered.
Profile visibility
Profiles can be public or private. Public profiles may appear in username search and allow other users to view your watchlist in read-only mode. Private profiles are hidden from public discovery.
Third-party services
Series Reminder uses TMDb data for series metadata and may use third-party email and notification providers to deliver confirmation emails, password resets, and notifications.
Account actions
Security-sensitive actions such as registration, email confirmation, sign-in, password reset requests, completed password resets, and account deletion requests may be logged for security, abuse prevention, and operational review. You can request permanent account deletion from the in-app profile screen.
